Legal notice and privacy
Who publishes this site, what it keeps about you, and how to change that. In short: no cookies, no account, and nothing that tells one visitor from another.
Publisher
This site is published by Adrien Lacourpaille, a private individual, not a business. You can write to me through the contact page.
As a non-professional publisher, I give the host’s identity in place of a postal address (LCEN, article 6-III-2).
Host
The site, like my visit counter, is hosted by:
Cloudflare, Inc.101 Townsend StSan Francisco, CA 94107USAWhat this site keeps
This site sets no cookies. What it remembers stays in your browser, for this site only, until you clear it:
portfolio:theme- The theme you picked: light, dark, or your system’s.
portfolio:locale- The language you picked, English or French.
analytics:ignore- Your refusal of audience measurement, if you turn it off below.
A note sent through the contact form reaches my mailbox. I keep it while we are in touch and delete it three years after our last exchange at the latest, or as soon as you ask. Nothing else about you is kept on a server.
Who else receives your data
Your browser talks to this site, to my visit counter and, only when you send the contact form, to the service that relays it.
- Cloudflare
- Hosts the site and the visit counter. It receives your IP address with each request, to deliver the page and protect the site from abuse.
- Web3Forms
- Relays the contact form. When you send it, Web3Forms receives your name, your email address, your note and your IP address, and emails them to me. Its privacy policy covers what it keeps.
Audience measurement
Visits are counted by a tool I built, at analytics.adrienlcp.com, without cookies. A page view records the page’s address, the site you came from, your browser’s language, the theme it shows, the width of its window, and the country Cloudflare places your connection in. Your IP address is never kept, and nothing is recorded that tells one visitor from another. How fast each page loaded is counted too, as anonymous totals.
Each record is kept 25 months at most. This measurement needs no consent under the CNIL’s guidelines, and you can still refuse it for this browser.
Your visits are counted, anonymously.
Your rights
Under the GDPR, you may access, correct or erase what concerns you, or object to its use. Ask through the contact page; I answer within a month.
If you believe your rights are not respected, you may lodge a complaint with the CNIL.
